Turning the Feedback Studio on and off

Turnitin Feedback Studio can be enabled from your account. This setting is controlled by the account administrator in the edit account screen. If you would like to trial the with a subset of faculty or students, we recommend that you read more about how to trial Turnitin Feedback Studio at your institution.

 

When Feedback Studio is enabled for your account, all the instructors and students enrolled will default to viewing student papers in the new Feedback Studio interface. Within Feedback Studio, individual users are able to navigate between the classic Turnitin interface and the new Feedback Studio. Disabling the Feedback Studio for the account will default all of the account’s users to the classic view of Turnitin. 

 

Enabling the Feedback Studio for your account(s)

 

1. Log into Turnitin as the Account Administrator.

 

2. Click the Feedback Studio toggle to turn on the Feedback Studio for your account.

 


 

3. A prompt will appear, click the Turn on button to enable the Feedback Studio for your account.

 

Note: If users are logged in when the Feedback Studio is turned on or off on the account, they may need to log out and log in again or refresh to see changes take effect.

 

Feedback Studio and Turnitin Classic Access

 

Remember that after enabling the Feedback Studio for your account, all of the Turnitin users in your account will be using Feedback Studio by default. The account users will also have the option to navigate back to using the classic version of Turnitin from inside Feedback Studio. If you decide to turn off the Feedback Studio for your account, all of your users will switch back to the classic version of Turnitin.

 

Turnitin administrators also have the option to allow or prevent users' ability to switch between Feedback Studio and Turnitin Classic.

1. Log into Turnitin as the Account Administrator.

2. Under the Edit (settings icon), click Edit account settings.

3. Within the Modify Account page, go to the Feedback Studio and Turnitin Classic access section.

  • Instructors and students who are allowed to switch between Feedback Studio and Turnitin (Classic) will see a button within the interface which can be clicked to go back and forth between the two versions.
