Viewing the Similarity Report

Accessing the Similarity Report

 

To access the Similarity Report, find the file you'd like to view, then select its title.

 

 

The Similarity Report opens in a new window. If you have a pop-up blocker installed, ensure it allows Turnitin pop-ups.

Viewing the similarity match overview

 

Within the Similarity Report, you'll find the similarity match overview - a breakdown of all the matches that have been found on a paper, ordered by highest similarity match to lowest. Hover over the match to view its information in full.


You can link the highlighted text to the similarity information in the match overview by using the number and color identifiers.

 

 

"At 30 metres (98 ft) in length and 190 tonnes /(210 short tons) or more in weight, it is the largest existing animal the heaviest that has ever existed." relates to number 1 in the match overview: wikipedia.org (internet), with a 36% similarity score.
