Uploading files for investigation

 Each file must be 100mb or less and must contain at least 2000 characters or 500 words
 The majority of the file must be written in English
 Accepted file types: .doc, .docx, .pdf


Select  My Files from the sidebar.

Select the  Upload button.


You can select one investigation file. The investigation file is the file that is under suspicion of possible academic misconduct. This file will be compared against one or several files to examine its authorship. Use the Select File button to choose an investigation file from your device.

You can title your investigation file to easily identify it.

You can choose up to ten comparison files. The comparison documents must be authored by the same individual; this will provide the benchmark of various features that help define authorship. 


Use the button Select File to choose the first comparison file from your device.

  Select + Add More to choose up to nine more comparison files.


If you would like to change either the investigation file or any of the comparison files, select the trash can icon to delete your currently selected file then Select File to choose a new one.


Once you are happy with your selected files, select the Confirm button to start your upload.


Your upload will be confirmed by the 'Upload complete!' box at the bottom of the sidebar.

Your Investigation Report may take a few minutes to process after your upload is complete.


You can access all your Investigation Reports in My Files.

Select the filename or title to open the report.


Only the filename or title of the investigation file will appear. Your comparison files are included in the report and are not visible at this stage.
