GradeMark Report

The GradeMark report shows summary statistics about the QuickMarks, Rubric/Forms, and e-rater marks that have been used to grade an assignment. You can access the GradeMark report for any assignment from the assignment inbox. The GradeMark report will give you a break down of the number of grading used from each of the libraries in your account. You can also look closer and see the number of times an individual mark is used from a specific QuickMark set, Rubric/Form, and e-rater category. 

Summary Usage Statistics

 

1. From the Assignment Inbox select GradeMark Report

 

 

2.  You'll be taken to the GradeMark Report. Here you will find an overview of the number of marks used for each QuickMark set for each submission in the assignment. If a student hasn't submitted to the assignment yet you will see a grey apple icon. 

 

 

3. For each of the QuickMark sets used to grade in an assigment you will see a column. Each entry in a column tells you how many times QuickMarks from that set have been used to grade with.

 

 

4. You can switch between QuickMark, Rubric/Form, and e-rater marks statistical summaries by clicking on the relevant tab

 

 

5. If you do any additional grading you can click on Refresh Report to update the statistics.

 

 

Detailed Usage Statistics

 

1. From the Assignment Inbox select GradeMark Report

 

 

2.  You'll be taken to the GradeMark Report. Here you will find an overview of the number of marks used by QuickMark set for each student in the class. If they haven't submitted to the assignment yet you will see a grey apple icon. 

 


3. Click on the details link beneath the QuickMark set you'd like more detailed statistics about.

 

 

4. You can switch between QuickMark, Rubric/Form, and e-rater marks statistical summaries by clicking on the relevant tab

 

 

5. The Rubric/Form summary also shows the average grade given for each part of the rubric for the entire class. 

 

Export the GradeMark Report

 

You can download an .xls version of the statistics contained within the GradeMark report for use with the spreadsheet software of your choice. The download will only contain the statistics from the current view. For example if you have the 'detailed' view of the Composition QuickMark set open the .xls file will only contain the usage statistics for that set. To download all statistics would require visiting each page individually. 

 

1. From the Assignment Inbox select GradeMark Report

 

 

2.  You'll be taken to the GradeMark Report. Here you will find an overview of the number of marks used for each QuickMark set for each submission in the assignment. If a student hasn't submitted to the assignment yet you will see a grey apple icon. 

 

 

3. Navigate to the view that you would like to download the statistics for. For example if you would like to download the the usage statistics for the Composition QuickMark set click on details link beneath that set. 

 

4. Select the Export Report button

 

 

5. A download will begin of the current view of the GradeMark report. This download will be in the .xls format. You can open this in any spreadsheet software.

 

 

QuickMark Breakdown

 

To access the QuickMark breakdown navigate to the Class Homepage and look for the QuickMark Breakdown link.

 

 

The QuickMark Breakdown provides simple summary usage statistics about QuickMark usage within a class. Included in the breakdown is the Quickmark's name, the symbol text as you'd see it in a paper, and the frequency of its use within the class. 

 

 

Clicking on any QuickMark name will open a new window with the detailed text description of the QuickMark.
