Excluding sources

Excluding sources allows you to remove individual sources that you do not want a document to match against. Excluding a source will adjust the Similarity Score accordingly. For example, you may use this functionality to exclude a cover sheet your organization uses for all uploads or to exclude a specific website.

Excluding an individual source

Once your document has loaded, select the source view dropdown. Change your view to All Sources.

Select the source you would like to exclude.

The source will expand to show more detail. Find the Exclude link in the bottom left-hand corner.

Excluding multiple sources

Once your document has loaded, select the source view dropdown. Change your view to All Sources.

Select the Exclude Sources link in the top right-hand corner of the All Sources list. If you have already excluded a source the link will appear as # Sources Excluded

Using the checkboxes provided, select the sources you would like to exclude. Select the Done button to confirm your exclusions and regenerate the report.
