How can we help?

Download class usage statistics

Real-time data is now available as a downloadable .csv file, providing instructors with useful tools to make data-driven decisions within their faculty.

Class statistics empower faculties to see class-level trends in submissions and feedback, as well as viewing trends in papers with high similarity scores; this helps to provide targeted instruction to students.

This feature is only available to customers using,, and Blackboard Basic.

Where can I download my class usage statistics?

From your Turnitin homepage, locate the class that you'd like to download usage statistics for.

Select the statistics icon 46dd8ab9d08a6715bea63eb9e1ffeeb2cb_Chart.gif alongside the relevant class to initiate the download of your .CSV file.

Use Blackboard Basic?

Navigate to the class you'd like to download usage statistics for.

At the top of the screen you'll find a Statistics tab. Selecting the tab will start the download.

What type of information do class usage statistics offer?

The class usage statistics file will provide your whole class feedback and similarity totals, then we'll break it down further by providing feedback and similarity totals at assignment level.

Download a sample class usage statistics file to view the type of information you'll receive in your download.

.CSV files can be viewed in spreadsheet software e.g. Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
