Feedback Summary

Voice Comments

 

1. A voice comment can be left from the Feedback Summary page.

 

1a. The Feedback Summary page can be accessed by tapping the pen icon in the top right-hand corner of the Document Viewer

 

 

1b. Should you have already assigned a grade to the paper, tap the numeric grade icon in the top right-hand corner of the Document Viewer.

 

 


2. A voice comment can be a maximum of three minutes long. Tap the circular record button to begin recording a voice comment.

 

 


 


3.  Having pressed record, a red bar above the voice recorder will advise that the recording is in progress. The record button will also change to a pause button. Tap the pause button to return to the recording at a later time.

 

 

 

 

Note: You may be asked to authorize use of your iPad’s microphone to begin recording for the first time.


 


4. A red bar above the voice recorder will advise that the recording is paused


 


 

4a. Tap the record button to resume recording

 

 

 

4b. Alternatively, you tap the stop button to finish recording

 

 


 


5. Once your recording has stopped, the recording bar will show the recording duration

 

 

 

 

5a. Play the recording by tapping the play button. You can also skip to a specific part of the recording by pressing the white circle, situated to the right of the play button, and sliding your finger to a specific time in the recording

 

 


 

5b. To delete the recording, tap the trash can button. In tapping the delete button, a dialog box will pop up asking you to confirm the deletion. Tap Discard to delete or Cancel to abort the deletion.

 

 

Text Comments

 

1. A text comment can be written from within the Feedback Summary page.

 

1a. The Feedback Summary page can be accessed by tapping the pen icon in the top right-hand corner of the Document Viewer.

 

 

1b. Should you have already assigned a grade to the paper, tap the numeric grade icon in the top right-hand corner of the Document Viewer.

 

 


 

2. To add a text comment to the paper, tap the pen icon in the top right-hand corner of the Text Comment box and begin typing

 

 

 


 

3. Once you have written your comment, tap Done in the top right-hand corner of the Text Comments box

 

Adding or Changing a Grade

 

1. To add a grade to a paper or amend an existing grade, you must access the Feedback Summary page.

 

1a. The Feedback Summary page can be accessed by tapping the pen icon in the top right-hand corner of the Document Viewer.

 

 

1b. Should you have already assigned a grade to the paper, tap the numeric grade icon in the top right-hand corner of the Document Viewer.
 


 

2. To assign or amend a grade, tap the Edit Grade button, located in the top left-hand corner of the Feedback Summary page. Begin typing a numerical grade lower or equal to the point value set. The point value appears below the paper icon.

 

 

 


 

3. Once the grade has been entered, it will now appear in the top left-hand corner of the Feedback Summary page at all times. You can change this grade at any time by, once again, tapping the Edit Grade button

 

 

 


 

4. By assigning a grade to a paper, the Document Viewer's pen icon will change to the numeric grade given to the paper. Tap this  icon to access the Feedback Summary page in future.
