As an LTI tool provider, Turnitin can be integrated with LMS LTI consumers. Many LMSs (for example Blackboard, Canvas, Desire2Learn and Sakai) are LTI compliant. The Turnitin Tool supports OriginalityCheck, GradeMark, and PeerMark. The Turnitin Tool also passes grades entered for the Turnitin assignment to the LMSgradebook. The Turnitin LTI tool interface is available in English. Translated versions of the Turnitin LTI tool are coming soon.
Note: The Turnitin Tool was built against the LTI 1.1 standard and can be used with any LMS which has an LTI 1.0 or 1.1 compliant API as a tool consumer.
New! We are WCAG 2.0 AA compliant. Read more about this update.
The Turnitin tool can be used to create Turnitin assignments from within an LMS. Once created, the Turnitin Rubric Manager is available for use. Likewise, PeerMark assignments can be added to the base assignment from within the assignment edit tool.
