The Turnitin LTI tool provides full support for the use of OriginalityCheck and GradeMark within Desire2Learn.
You can utilize the Turnitin LTI tool to allow Turnitin to be added to a drop box and enable the Turnitin grading tools to sync with the Brightspace grade book.
Now that the LTI API is configured in Turnitin you will be able to set up the Turnitin LTI in BrightSpace.
From the drop-down, select Config Variable Browser.
Select Add Value
In the 'Add Variable Value' pop-up select the Select Org Unit button to bring up a list of available org units.
For BrightSpace you should select HE BrightSpace. Select Update to confirm.
Now enter the account ID into the Value field. The account ID can be found in the Turnitin administrator screen in the 'Account ID' column. Select Save to add the value.
Follow the same method you used in step 6 to select the org unit. In the two Value fields, this time enter the shared key twice. The shared key is the one you created in the Turnitin administrator account (step 5 of the previous list).
Follow the same method you used in step 6 to select the org unit. In the Value field, this time enter the following URL: https://api.turnitin.com/api/lti/1p0/assignment
Once all of the parameters are entered for the Turnitin LTI, the Turnitin plugin will be enabled for drop box assignments.
