Creating a V2 dropbox assignment

Log in as a BrightSpace instructor.

Select the course that you'd like to create an assignment in.

From the navigation at the top of the course page, select Assignments.

Select the blue New Folder button.

Give your folder a name.

(Optional) You can skip this step if your assignment is intended for individual student submissions. However, if you'd like to set up a group assignment, select Group submission folder under Folder Type.

Select the Restrictions tab.

Ensure the Hidden from users checkbox is unchecked.

Ensure the following checkboxes are checkedHas due dateHas start date, and Has end date.

Select due, start, and end dates and times for the folder.

Select the Turnitin tab.

Ensure the Enable GradeMark for this folder option is checked.

Under Transfer, select Automatically sync grades as Draft in BrightSpace.

Under DIsplay, select Allow learners to see Turnitin similarity scores in their Dropbox folder.

To customize the assignment further, select the More Options in Turnitin button.

Select Save & close to view your new Dropbox folder in your list of assignment folders.
