In this guide, instructors can learn about individual extensions. Extensions can be provided to individual students to provide them with more time to work on and submit to their assignment. To provide an extension:
The new Standard Assignment is only currently available for Turnitin Feedback Studio licenses using the Turnitin website or an LTI 1.3 integration.
- Access the assignment.
- Locate the student’s row of the submission list and select the three-dot More menu at the end of the row.
- Select Grant extension.
- A modal will open where you can designate a number of days or hours to extend the due date for the selected student. The new extended due date will be displayed as you make your selections.
- Select Confirm.
- An indication of the extension will appear for the specified student in the submission list.
