Which Moodle integration type does your institution use?

This article will help you identify your integration type for Moodle and point you toward the correct guidance for your workflow.

  1. Locate your course in your LMS and select an assignment title. 
  2. Browse the options below to locate the view and that looks most similar to what you see. Below each image are links to associated guidance.

Moodle LTI 1.3

This view is characterized by a solid light gray background. The Turnitin logo is at the top left beside the text "Assignment Inbox".

If this is what you see, you are using Turnitin Feedback Studio with Moodle LTI 1.3.

Moodle Plagiarism/Integrity Plugin

This view is characterized by a white background. Assignment instructions are inside of a gray box. There are two buttons: View all submissions and Grade.

This Moodle view integrates with two versions of Turnitin. One integrates with our Feedback Studio product and the other integrates with our Originality, Similarity or SimCheck product. If you're unsure, ask your Turnitin administrator. Alternatively, you can check your assignment settings by selecting the Settings link from the view in the image above. Then, look for the Turnitin settings area.

If you see Turnitin plagiarism plugin settings, then you are using Turnitin Feedback Studio with the Moodle Plagiarism Plugin.

If you see the Turnitin Integrity plugin settings, then you are using Turnitin Originality, Similarity or SimCheck with the Moodle Integrity Plugin

 

Moodle Direct V2

This view is characterized by a striped white and gray table.

If this is what you see, you are using Turnitin Feedback Studio with Moodle Direct V2.
