Migration timelines

Based on the feedback received over the past year, we recognize that we need to continue working with Moodle to provide feature parity between the Moodle Direct V2 plugin and the Turnitin Advantage Integration (LTI 1.3) and make enhancements to better support key functionality including accessibility, data mining, groupwork, multi-part assignment, etc.

In order to help support institutions while these improvements are made, we are extending the current retirement dates for the Turnitin Moodle V2 plugin with no fixed end date.

Your institution may want to consider deploying/continuing to use the Turnitin Advantage Integration (LTI 1.3) alongside the Direct V2 plugin. This approach allows you to immediately access the Turnitin LTI 1.3 features and add-ons while retaining the critical Direct V2 functionality you rely on.
