This article will help you identify your version of Moodle and point you toward the correct guidance for your workflow.
- Locate your assignment in your LMS and select the assignment title.
- Browse the options below to locate the view and that looks most similar to what you see. Below each image are links to associated guidance.
Option A - Standard Assignment (LTI 1.3)
There are currently two versions of the Standard Assignment.
- New Standard Assignment
- Classic Standard Assignment
It is possible that your institution could be using both versions at the same time, or only enable one at a time. The image below will help you identify which version you are using and point you toward the correct guidance for your workflow.

Option B
This view is characterized by a white background. Your assignment instructions are inside of a light gray box. There is a Submission Status section below which is a striped table.
If this is what you see, you are using Turnitin with Moodle Plagiarism/Integrity Plugin.

This view is characterized by a white and gray background. Assignment information is displayed within a tab titled My Submissions.
