Turnitin works great on most modern systems, but to ensure top performance we would recommend the following settings as a minimum for anyone trying to use Turnitin.
If you are not using a supported operating system or do not meet the System Requirements, it is recommended that you either upgrade your existing system or use a different computer that meets the requirements. Although you may be able to use our service with older versions of browsers/ operating systems, we can not guarantee performance and support will be limited.

Security Settings
To access Turnitin, your web browser or antivirus software must not block content from the following URLs:
- *.turnitin.com
- *.turnitinuk.com
- *.turnitincdn.com
- ajax.googleapis.com
To receive emails from Turnitin, make sure that emails from the following domains are not blocked or marked as spam by your email client or filter:
- @turnitin.com
- @turnitinuk.com
- @iparadigms.com
Using Turnitin Services in a virtual environment or in a way that circumvents security controls is a violation of the End-User License Agreement. As such, Turnitin Services cannot be run within virtualized environments or environments that require persistent network connections (local or otherwise). This includes, but is not limited to, VMWare, Parallels, Citrix workspace, virtual disks, streamed images, etc.
Third-party LMS mobile applications
Turnitin is not supported for use with third-party LMS mobile apps.
To access Turnitin via your institution's Learning Management System (LMS), please access the LMS using one of the above supported desktop operating system and browsers.
