In this guide:
Feedback navigation
- Feedback navigation: Opens the Feedback side panel.
- Feedback side panel: Contains QuickMarks and Summary comments.
- QuickMarks tab: Contains the QuickMarks interface.
- Summary tab: Contains the Summary Comment interface and a list of pinned comments.
- Collapse side panel: Collapses the side panel; can select this button again to expand it.
- Layers: Allows you to select an available integrity layer (e.g., Similarity, Flags, AI Writing, etc.) to display on-submission highlights associated with that layer while in the Feedback tab.
QuickMarks tab
- QuickMark search box: Searches QuickMarks belonging to the currently selected set.
- QuickMark set menu: Switches to an existing QuickMarks set.
- QuickMark Manager button: Opens the QuickMark Manager.
- Create QuickMark button: Opens the QuickMark creation modal.
In-margin feedback
- Comment card: A text comment that appears in the margin.
- QuickMark card: A QuickMark comment that appears in the margin.
- Pinned feedback: Feedback that has been marked as significant.
- Options menu: Options for editing a comment or QuickMark.
- Link feedback to rubric criterion: Link feedback to a rubric criterion. After linking, the indicator appears at the top of the card like below:
On-submission feedback
- Feedback hotspot: Available when submission is clicked; shows where on-paper feedback will appear.
- On-submission feedback menu (no highlighting): Appears when the submission is clicked and no text is highlighted. Displays the following on-submission feedback options: create QuickMark, create comment, create on-submission feedback.
- On-submission feedback menu (highlighting): Appears when submission text is highlighted. Displays the following on submission feedback options: create QuickMark, create comment, strikethrough currently highlighted text.
Summary tab
- Summary comment: A generalized comment about the overall submission.
- Pinned feedback: A list of currently pinned comments.
Rubric navigation
- Rubric navigation: Displays the Grading side panel.
- Rubric side panel: Displays grading options if a rubric has been attached to the submission.
- Open full-sized rubric: Opens a full-sized view of the currently attached rubric.
- Rubric options: Displays the rubric criteria for the currently attached rubric.
- Apply to grade button: Applies the rubric scoring to the submission as an overall grade.
- Overall grade: Displays the overall submission grade.
Feedback and grading information
- Download: Provides options for downloading PDF versions of reports or the original file.
- Submission details: Provides metadata about the submission, such as the submission ID and other information.
- Help: Provides links to help guidance.
