Turnitin report settings
Configure Turnitin settings as needed:
- Choose whether to store submissions
- Select which sources submissions are compared against
- Enable any exclusions, such as:
- Bibliographic materials
- Quoted material
- Small matches
- Select Allow students to view report after submitting, if you want students to see their results.
Please note that it is currently not possible to change the Allow students to view report after submitting.
-
Save to confirm and close.
View report locations
After students submit, instructors can access reports in multiple locations:
- Assignments > Users and Submissions
- The Submission Details page (via Consistent Evaluation)
Each submission displays a Turnitin report icon linked to the Similarity and AI Writing report.
AI Scores appear only if your institution has a Turnitin Originality add-on license.
Currently in the Assignments > Folder Submissions view all Turnitin reports will be listed with a description of Highest, which is due to a priority code requirement of the integration. Turnitin reports do not currently have a priority code, however numerical scores and colors are displayed for each report when viewed.
