Reviewing your grade and rubric

New Classic

In the new grading and feedback experience

In this guide:

Reviewing your overall grade

Launch into your assignment and select the Similarity Score to open your graded submission.

Your overall grade will be listed at the top right of the screen in blue.

Reviewing your rubric

Rubrics and grading forms can be used by your instructor to evaluate your work based on defined criteria and/or scales.

If your instructor has provided a rubric or grading form for your assignment, you can view it before submitting to your assignment in order to get an idea of what your instructor's expectations are. See our Submitting to Turnitin section of guidance for instructions on how to view rubrics and grading forms beforehand.

Select the Feedback tab at the top of your screen.

Select the Rubric tab in the Feedback side panel.

At the top of the panel, you can select the Open full-size rubric in new window link to view your entire rubric. Otherwise, you can view each criterion in the side panel.

Use the caret icon to expand a rubric criterion to read its description.

Sometimes, a piece of feedback may be associated with a specific rubric criterion. This is indicated by a comment bubble attached to the criterion. By expanding the caret, you can read both the criterion description and the associated feedback. The feedback appears in the margin of your submission as well.
