In this guide:
Accessing your submission
You’ll need to log in to your student account to view your submission.
- If you’re accessing your assignment from an LMS, navigate to your assignment from the Assignment Inbox as usual.
- If you're accessing your assignment from the Turnitin website, go to your class homepage and select View to open the assignment. Your submission will then launch in the Paper to Digital app.
Until your instructor has finished grading, you will see a message that your submission hasn’t been graded yet. Once your instructor publishes grades, the status changes from Ungraded to Graded, and you will be able to see the total score as well as the scores for each question.
If you are using Turnitin through an LMS, you will be able to view your overall grade from the LMS gradebook. However, if you are using the Turnitin website, you will need to launch your graded submission in order to see your grade.
Viewing your grades and feedback
Upon launching your fully graded assignment, you will be taken directly to a view of your graded assignment and the associated score.
The left side of this view will display a copy of your handwritten assignment. You can use the navigation options at the top left of the page to switch between Full Page and Question Only views of your submission. At the bottom left, you can use additional navigation options to view other pages of your submission as well as zoom in or out of the view.
The right side of this view will display each graded question and the number of points it was assigned. You can select a question to expand it and see details about the scoring criteria used by your instructor.
Viewing the scoring criteria is a great way to get feedback about your work, and helps ensure that it was graded fairly. In some cases, instructors may choose to hide some scoring criteria and it may not be visible.
If the due date has not yet passed and your submission has been graded, you will see your score in your submission tile. You can use the View Submission button to view details about your graded submission.
