To learn more about the Clarity assignment type, view our Assignment Types guidance.
Requirements
Clarity assignments are only available for LTI 1.3 integrations and Turnitin web. If your institution isn’t currently using an LTI 1.3 integration, you’ll need to either update or set up an LTI 1.3 integration for your LMS environment.
- For D2L, view the Configuring Feedback Studio in D2L LTI 1.3 guidance in our D2L Feedback Studio migration hub.
- For more LMS guidance, view Turnitin in an LMS: D2L.
Enabling Clarity assignments
Once Clarity is made available to your institution, the Clarity assignment type is enabled by default. In your account settings, you will see the Clarity assignment option checked in the Assignment Settings section.
If you do not see the Clarity assignment option for your account, contact your Turnitin sales representative for assistance.
Once enabled, instructors will see the Clarity assignment type as an option on the Turnitin assignment creation page. Instructors can create, view, and grade the final submission within Turnitin’s Feedback Studio.
Disabling Clarity assignments
If you don’t want the Clarity assignment type enabled for your institution, you can deselect the Clarity assignment option in the Assignment Settings section of your account settings.
