Document Processor cannot be used in a self hosted Canvas environment.
Before you begin, you will need to configure LTI 1.3 for your account.
In this guide:
Enable Document Processor as an administrator
As an admin, you enable Document Processor in Settings and go to Feature Options.
To configure Document Processor availability:
- Search for Document processor in the Feature Options.
- Choose the setting you want by selecting the icons in the 'State' column:
- On and unlocked: default on for all courses, and instructors can turn it off.
- On and locked: on for all courses, and instructors can’t turn it off.
- Disabled and unlocked: nobody uses it by default, and instructors can opt in per course (turn it on).
- Selecting your options autosaves your choices.
Turn on Document Processor as an instructor
If the feature is not defaulted on for all courses, you can enable it per course.
To turn it on:
- In the course, go to Settings and then Feature Options.
- Search for 'Document processor' in the Feature Options.
