This article will help you identify your version of Blackboard and point you toward the correct guidance for your workflow.
- Locate your assignment in your LMS and select the assignment title.
- Browse the options below to locate the view and that looks most similar to what you see. Below each image are links to associated guidance.
Option A - Standard Assignment (LTI 1.3)
There are currently two versions of the Standard Assignment.
- New Standard Assignment
- Classic Standard Assignment
It is possible that your institution could be using both versions at the same time, or only enable one at a time. The image below will help you identify which version you are using and point you toward the correct guidance for your workflow.
If this is what you see, you are using Turnitin Feedback Studio with Blackboard LTI 1.3.

Option B
This view is characterized by black text on a white background. Assignments are listed under the Course Content heading.
If this is what you see, you are using Turnitin with the Blackboard Ultra Assignment integration.

This view is characterized by a dark blue header area and a light blue background behind the due date and the start dates.
