What do the new highlight colors represent?

Each match, or block of text found similar to a source, is highlighted in its corresponding match group color. The new highlight colors in the document represent matches that fall within the four new match groups, which are categorized by the usage of in-text citations and quotation marks:

  • Screenshot 2024-07-01 at 5.30.37 PM.png Not Cited or Quoted - Matching text blocks that are not written as a quotation or has no citation to its original source. 

  • Screenshot 2024-07-01 at 5.30.41 PM.png Missing Quotations - This text is cited, but the match is so exact that it may also require quotation marks.

  • Screenshot 2024-07-01 at 5.30.45 PM.png Missing Citation - This text is written as a quote, but lacks a citation to its original source. 

  • Screenshot 2024-07-01 at 5.30.50 PM.png Cited and Quoted - This text contains a quotation and is cited to a source. You may want to review them for your preferred formatting. 

 

To display definitions in the side panel, select "Show Help" in the blue bar displaying the match total:Screenshot 2024-07-01 at 5.09.35 PM.png

To hide the definitions, select "Hide Help":
