This guide explains what instructors need to know when copying a Google Classroom class or re-using a Google Classroom assignment that contains Turnitin attachments.
Before you begin:
- The Google Classroom integration requires the use of supported Turnitin assignment types. Classic Standard Assignments are not supported.
- We recommend reviewing all assignment dates and settings before posting a reused assignment.
When a class is copied in Google Classroom, assignments in that class are also copied,
When a Classroom assignment that includes an existing Turnitin attachment is copied or re-used then the Turnitin attachment will also be copied as a newly created assignment.
The due date for the copied assignments should be set in Classroom and will be passed to Turnitin
Before using copied assignments with students, instructors should review each copied assignment to make sure the Turnitin setup and assignment details are correct.
