How will the migration process be arranged?

PlagScan Migration Overview

The migration will happen in three stages: pre-migration, migration, and post-migration.

Pre-migration

During the Pre-migration phase, you will consider a list of questions from Turnitin to plan your institution’s migration from PlagScan to your new Turnitin solution and facilitate the most-effective conversations within your institution as you plan.

This is when you will also need to choose the desired migration window. Each migration window will last for 4 weeks, during which time you will have access to both your PlagScan account and your new Turnitin account.

First, you will choose your migration window by completing the form linked in the email that you received. Then, a Turnitin representative will be in contact with you to discuss the next steps in the process.

Migration

During the Migration phase, you will gain access to your new Turnitin solution, test its functionality, and complete your institution’s transition from PlagScan.

Post-migration

During the Post-migration phase, you will address any follow-up needs for support and evaluate the process of migrating to your new Turnitin solution.
