Legacy Workflow Deprecation in Turnitin Feedback Studio - Admin FAQ

If your institution uses Turnitin Feedback Studio (TFS) or Original Check (OC) via Turnitin.com or Turnitinuk.com, several legacy workflows will be permanently removed on August 11, 2026.

Which features will be removed?

On the instructor homepage

Class Summary and Learning Analytics

At class view level:

Libraries, Calendar, Discussion Boards, Preferences,  and Class QuickMark breakdown.

For students:

Discussion Boards and Calendar.

Will any of the removed features be replaced?

There are no immediate plans to recreate or replace any of the features that are being removed.

Can I opt out of these features being removed?

No. Once the feature is gone it cannot and will not be brought back. 

How will I know if my faculty are using any of the features to be removed?

We do not have a mechanism to track which individual instructors may be using the features scheduled for removal. Therefore, we strongly recommend that you circulate this message to your faculty as soon as possible. You can also enable the hide legacy workflows setting in your Administrator console now, if you haven't already. This can be a useful way to surface this change to any instructors who may need additional support before August 11th.
