AI writing statistics

In this guide for administrators, you’ll learn how to view the statistics for AI writing detection at your institution.

1. On the Statistics page, select your license type and data source, and set a date range.

   If you need help selecting your license type, data source, and date range, please see our account statistics guide.
2. After setting your license type, data source, and date range, select the AI Summary tab.

3. Once you select the AI Summary tab, the Overall percentage of text detected as AI chart will appear.
   

   The Overall percentage of text detected as AI chart shows the distribution of AI Writing reports by the percentage of text identified as AI-generated. 

   Each bar represents the number of reports that fall within a specific AI percentage range.

   • Blue bars represent AI Writing reports with a measurable AI score.
   • Grey-striped bars represent reports with weak AI signals.
4. The chart updates automatically based on the date range selected at the top of the report.
